Global Spectrum Facility Management is pleased to announced that Budweiser Gardens will once again host its Annual Open House Skate, as part of its toy drive this holiday season. The Open House Skate will take place on Sunday, December 21st from 1pm-4pm in the afternoon. Toy and cash donations will be accepted at the door. Children under the age of 12 must wear a helmet. Fans are being asked to enter via Gate 4 and enjoy an afternoon of free public skating at the arena.

This campaign marks the sixth consecutive year that Budweiser Gardens has launched a Toy Drive each winter, tallying donations of over $25,000 to local children’s charities since 2008. This year all toys and cash donations will go to support the London Children’s Aid Society.

“The staff at Budweiser Gardens is proud to support the Children’s Aid Society. We take pride in giving back to many organizations all year round, and especially during the holiday season,” said Global Spectrum Facility Management’s Brian Ohl, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Budweiser Gardens.

In addition to the Annual Toy Drive for the Children’s Aid Society, community support from Budweiser Gardens and the London Knights is ongoing. The London Business Cares Food Drive launches this weekend, and fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the London Knights vs. Plymouth Whalers “Be a Fan, Bring a Can” game on Friday, December 12, as well as their game Sunday, December 14 against the Peterborough Petes.
