    Business Spotlight: BPM Fitness

    Discover BPM Fitness downtown!

Step into BPM Fitness in downtown London and prepare to be transformed in mind, body and spirit. London entrepreneur, Eddy Tony Phimphrachanh, is making his mark in the Canadian fitness industry by providing Londoners with health, movement and fat loss at his new boutique gym located at 238 Dundas Street.

Already a successful business owner and past owner of Thaifoon restaurant,  Eddy has added Holistic Lifestyle Coach to his impressive list of accomplishments. Seeking out the best experts in the wellness field, Eddy recently received certifications in personal training through the Darby Training Systems and a Food, Nutrition and Wellness specialization through C.H.E.K. Institute and Poliquin Strength institute.

In one visit to his new mind fitness studio, it is easy to see that Eddy is truly living out his passion. A self-subscribed healthy lifestyle convert, Eddy confesses to having spent many past years working long hours with a poor diet and little sleep. His stressful lifestyle caught up to him and Eddy knew something had to change. After passing his certifications, he put his own knowledge to the test and reduced his body fat percentage.

The workable square footage of the studio is 1000ft but every inch of the space is utilized to the fullest. With high ceilings and natural light that streams in from the large street-facing windows, the space provides an inspiring workout setting. The latest equipment of kettle bells, spin bikes and squat racks line the perimeters of the gym ready for BPM’s signature 45 minutes bootcamp classes. Be prepared to sweat as BPM uses the effective high intensity training principles such as Tabata style workouts.

Being in downtown London makes Eddy feel connected to the heart of city. “I would not want to be anywhere else,” he says. One of the benefits of being a boutique fitness studio, is that working out at BPM feels like an intimate experience. Many BPM members develop friendships as they receive access the “BPM Inner circle”. This is Eddy’s Facebook community that champions his clients through their health journey while promoting teamwork. Eddy himself has over 1700 followers on his own Twitter page that provides inspiration quotes and supportive health advice. As well, Eddy produces podcasts and Youtube videos through his series entitled “Authentic Living”, that feature healthy recipes, Tai Chi workouts and chats in his soothing voice.

If Eddy has his way, he'll have Londoners feeling more centred in their minds. BPM holds weekly yoga/meditation classes to challenge clients’ limiting beliefs that help to instill a new found confidence and healthy life perspective.
