The Bull & Barrel Job Fair

We are thrilled to welcome The Bull & Barrel to downtown London this fall! The popular “southern country” themed restaurant and bar will take up residence at 359 Talbot Street, just around the corner from Budweiser Gardens. The location will feature southern style smokehouse cooking, a roof top patio, dance floor and a mechanical bull.

The addition of the Bull & Barrel to the downtown core comes as plans are well underway for London to host Country Music Week and the CCMA Awards in 2016.

“Country music fans are growing exponentially in London and the addition of The Bull & Barrel adds to this excitement and the overall vibrancy of our downtown,” said Chris Campbell, Chair of the 2016 CCMA Host Committee and Director of Culture & Entertainment Tourism at Tourism London.

“Downtown London is thrilled to welcome the Bull & Barrel into our restaurant family. Country music is growing in popularity at an astounding rate. The addition of this dining and entertainment experience adds to that buzz,” said Janette Macdonald, CEO and General Manager of Downtown London.

This will be The Bull & Barrel’s second location in Ontario, their first one being in Windsor. The ownership group is looking forward to expanding the brand and providing a new dining experience to downtown London.

The Bull & Barrel will be hosting a job fair on Wednesday September 9th and Thursday September 10th in the King Club at Budweiser Gardens (enter through Dundas and Talbot Street entrance) between 2-4PM each day.

“We are looking to hire 40-60 people to get us through the busy school year and all of the popular events that are coming to Budweiser Gardens,” states managing partner Andrew Corbett. “We will be looking to hire all positions including management, servers, bartenders, licensed security, bussers, professional dancers, singers, cooks and kitchen staff. We will have representatives on site at Budweiser Gardens accepting resumes and providing some initial interviews.”

Applicants are required to present a resume for each position they would like to apply for.

The Bull & Barrel will be announcing their grand opening celebration in the coming weeks. For updates about the grand opening, reservation inquiries, and more information visit www.bullandbarrel.com.
