Museum London is BACK with five days of FREE back-to-back events.
May 11th – Museum London Annual General Meeting, 5PM – 6:30PM
-Andrew Kear (Senior Curator and Head of Exhibition, Collections, and Programs) will be presenting highlights from the last two years
-Sarah Padfield, Chair of the Board of Directors, will be speaking on behalf of the board
-Staff milestones and volunteers will be recognized
-Presentation of the financial statements
This meeting is free and open for all the public to attend.
Thursday, May 12 – Local London London Trivia Night, 7-9pm
Charismatic trivia host Jonathan will facilitate four rounds of trivia including multiple choice questions, a music round, and photo clues – all with a local London theme. Light refreshments (Korean fried chicken pieces, dumplings) will be provided with a cash bar. Prizes donated by London Children’s Museum, Downtown London, and Eldon House and will be awarded to the top three teams
Friday, May 13 – Words & Music Downtown: Discover London’s Music Scene, 7-9pm
Hybrid talk/concert series where 4 local creators ( Pablo Tovar, Richard Gracious, Sara Mai Chitty, and Zahra Habib) created playlists and over the evening they’ll talk about the bands they chose and some of those bands will play live.
Saturday, May 14 – Events Open House, 10:30am-5pm
We’re opening up the Museum and filling it with activities to show off the many types of rentals we can accommodate. We will have a wedding seminar, and dance lessons, and much more!
Sunday, May 15 – Closing Reception, 2pm-4pm
Celebrating the closing of our exhibitions “From Remote Stars” and “20 Works” – our first exhibition reception in 2 years!
