FREE CORE PARKING!
The City of London has extended the free parking program in Downtown London for the rest of the year, ending December 31, 2021.
On the HonkMobile app, Londoners can use the promo code ‘CORE’ to receive two hours of free parking. This is only valid for on-street and municipal parking and excludes privately managed spots.
Drivers are still able to park for free up to one hour along Dundas Place with no code required. Anyone not able to use the HonkMobile app can also phone Parking Services at 519-661-4537 to arrange the discount.

December 1st: W3APONS with Mad Moxxis & Brother Leeds
Live music is back! London Music Hall & FM96 present W3APONS with Mad Moxxis & Brother Leeds on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Rum Runners. The show starts at 8PM and doors open at 7PM.
December 2-4: The Holly Jolly Market
Covent Garden Market is hosting their first independently run Christmas Market from December 2nd until December 4th! From 10am to 6pm on the upstairs Mezzanine, there will be live music, festive décor, that holiday cheer, and most importantly, innovative artisans.
December 3rd: Home for the Holidays by The Grand Theatre
Starting on December 3rd, the theatrical concert, Home for the Holidays is coming to the Grand Theatre. An original Grand presentation, Home for the Holidays is much more than your traditional concert experience. This theatrical celebration features 27 diverse holiday songs, eight extraordinary voices, six world-class musicians.
December 3-5: A Very Vintage Xmas
For our second weekend of our Festival of Markets, the event will include diverse vintage vendors, fire pits, hot beverages, music, and a photo bus booth installation! The first 50 people who show up to the event have a chance to receive a FREE swag bag filled with lots of goodies! You don’t want to miss out!
December 4th: Live Music Performances at Black Walnut Cafe
Starting December 4th, there will be live music performances by talented local artists including The Pairs and Gabi and The Whats. These performances will take place on December 4th, December 11th, and December 18th from 12pm until 2pm at 724 Richmond Street.
December 10: DJ & Skate
Join us for our winter DJ + Skate Season. Lace up and get ready to boogie. Kicking things off between our downtown rinks at Covent Garden Market + Victoria Park you can catch various DJs who will help you get your groove on. The DJ dates and sets include: Dec 10th – Zahra Habib, Dec 12th – Rude Girls, Dec 17th – DJ Twizla Rootz, Dec 19th – Gripski.
December 10-12: PopART Market
For the third weekend of our Festival of Markets, this week’s theme will be PopART. Various local vendors will be selling their latest collections of clothing, art and more! This market will also include firepits to keep you warm, hot beverages, food, music and activations. The first 50 people who show up each day will have the chance to receive a free swag bag full of local goods including a $25 gift card.
December 17-19: Afrik Market
For the fourth weekend of our Festival of Markets, this week’s theme will be Afrik. Various local vendors will be selling their latest collections of clothing, art and more! This market will also include firepits to keep you warm, hot beverages, food, music and activations. Be one of the first 50 people to show up to receive various local goods at no cost to you! Don’t miss out on this awesome event.
December 23: Last Minute London
For our final weekend of Festival of Markets, this will be a chance for Londoners to purchase last minute Christmas gifts from our vendors. This market will also include fire-pits to keep you warm, hot beverages, food, music and activations. This will be the last day to pick up your free swag bag when you enter our market!

Holiday Shopping Event at Jonathon’s
Jonathon’s is hosting a holiday shopping event on Thursday, December 9th from 7pm – 10pm. Jonathon’s is a local art gallery that specializes in ceramic art pieces. The gallery showcases the talents of over 125 of Canada’s top ceramic artists from all over Canada. With so many beautiful pieces to choose from, there is a gift for everyone’s style and taste!

Holiday Window Display Contest

For this holiday season, Downtown London will be holding our annual Holiday Window Display Contest. We want to encourage you to get creative and decorate your storefront windows as a theme of your choice! A page will be created on our website that allows customers and other locals to vote for their favourite window display. The winner of the best window display will win a fun gift basket containing various merchandise from local businesses. When your window has been decorated, reach out to marketing@downtownlondon.ca to let us know to be included in the voting portion of our website and for photos.
