Here are two FREE programs to get involved in the Downtown for the Holidays celebration and get more free promotions!

1. The Holiday Window Contest: November 28 – December 22

  • We will provide you with a QR code window cling to encourage votes from customers and passersby
  • Final winners will be selected based on both People’s Choice votes and judges’ scores
  • Free Holiday Window Contest Workshop on November 14 to help you get inspired and prepared.

2. Downtown for the Holidays Trail: November 28 – December 31

  • A self-guided experience that highlights festive businesses, attractions, and activities throughout Downtown London this holiday season
  • Passholders can “check-in” at many participating locations using GPS on their digital device and earn points. The passholders can redeem Downtown Dollar Gift Cards, exclusive discounts (only the businesses that want to), and other prizes which keeps people coming back to the core!

We’ll share more details about both the Window Contest and the Trail, including social media graphics and window clings by November 27.

Property Damage and Vandalism Survey
We Invite You to Complete Our Property Damage and Vandalism Survey!

We’ve heard from several members that property damage resulting from vandalism appears to be declining this year (2025) compared to last (2024). To help us understand whether this trend is being felt across downtown, we’re asking property owners and tenants to share their experiences. Your feedback will help us track progress and advocate for continued investment in safety and prevention efforts.

It only takes 2 minutes to complete, and all responses are anonymous. Results will be shared in aggregate to show overall downtown trends.

Remembrance Day 2025

Road closure taking place on Tuesday, November 11th , 2025 from 8am to 12:30pm.

Southwestern Ontario Development Fund
Businesses in Southwestern Ontario can now access up to $500,000 – $5 million in government funding through the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund (SWODF) to support expansion, job creation, and productivity improvements.

The program offers grants and repayable loans for projects such as new facilities, equipment upgrades, innovation, and infrastructure development. Eligible applicants include businesses operating for at least three years, with a minimum of 10 full-time employees, and projects valued at $500,000 or more.

Municipalities and economic development organizations may also apply under the Community Economic Development Stream for initiatives that drive regional growth.
