| The York Street and Colborne Street intersection will be closed until fall 2026 as crews begin the next stage of construction on the York Street and Wellington Infrastructure Renewal project.
During the closure, drivers will not be able to travel through the intersection and should follow posted detour signs. Traffic delays are expected. Construction on York Street between Wellington Street and Waterloo Street will continue during this time.
Access to the RBC Place London outdoor parking lot will be maintained from Wellington Street, and access to the RBC Place London underground parking garage will remain available via the Wellington Street and York Street intersection.
Transit riders are encouraged to visit the LTC website for the most up-to-date route and service information.
⭐️ Businesses in the area will remain open and accessible throughout construction.
Why is this work happening?
This phase of construction replaces aging watermains, sewers and other underground infrastructure beneath the intersection before the road is rebuilt. The upgrades will improve the reliability of essential services, reduce the risk of future failures and support growth in the downtown core.
