Police Week

Let’s celebrate community collaboration for Police Week in downtown London 💙🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️

During Police Week (May 12–16), the London Police Service recognizes the theme “Committed to Serve Together,” highlighting how safety in our core relies on collaboration between police, first responders, community partners, and everyone who lives, works, and visits downtown.

Since 2023, the LPS Community Foot Patrol Office has maintained a consistent presence in the core, supporting businesses, residents, and events through year-round patrols by foot and bike. Most recently, LPS expanded the team with eight officers working alongside mental health and addiction specialists, strengthening the link between public safety and community care.

Whether you’re opening your shop, enjoying a festival, or meeting a friend for coffee, support is always close by in downtown London.
