| As part of Downtown London’s engagement in the 2026 Municipal Election, we invited all candidates running for Mayor and City Council to complete a short survey focused on issues that matter to our downtown businesses and property owners.
Each candidate was asked the same seven questions, providing an opportunity to share their perspectives, priorities and thoughts on the future of downtown London. We are pleased to share the responses we received to help you learn more about the candidates and where they stand on issues affecting our downtown.
We sincerely thank the candidates who took the time to complete the survey. We recognize that the election period is an exceptionally busy time, and we appreciate their commitment to the downtown and the thoughtful time they put into responding to our questions.
Downtown London also developed a 2026 Municipal Election Priorities document outlining the key issues we believe are important to the continued success of our downtown. These priorities were shared with every candidate and are available on our website under Advocacy & Reports. We are also sharing them with our members as additional information and context as you review the candidate responses.
