York Street Construction

York Street will be closed between Wellington Street and Colborne Street until approximately the fall of 2026, as construction resumes on the York Street and Wellington Infrastructure Renewal project.

The Colborne and York intersection will remain open during this time for north and south traffic, and access to local businesses and parking will be maintained.

Sidewalk closures and restrictions will be in place during construction. Safe, accessible pedestrian paths will be provided on at least one side of the road wherever possible.

The York and Colborne intersection will be fully closed starting in July 2026 and is expected to last until approximately September 2026.

Additional work between Clarence Street and Wellington Street will also take place in 2026 but will only require temporary lane restrictions.

Spring Cleanup

City of London’s spring cleanup is now underway. Over the next few weeks, you may see the City street sweepers out cleaning up roads, or crews tidying up parks getting them ready.

Keeping London clean is something we all share. Thank you to everyone doing their part, whether it’s tossing waste in a bin or taking it home when one is not nearby. Every little bit helps.

If you see illegal dumping or other litter, please let the City of London know at service.london.ca
