Core Area Spring Town Hall
Join the City of London for the virtual Core Area Spring Town Hall, where City staff will provide updates on the Community-led Health and Homelessness Response, the Core Area Action Plan, incentives and funding programs available to business and property owners, an overview of new businesses and residential properties and events coming to the Core Area this summer.
The presentations will be followed by an opportunity for businesses and residents to ask questions. You can join the virtual Core Area Town Hall on Thursday, April 27 at either 10 a.m. or 5 p.m.
CFIB Health & Safety Refresher
The Canadian Federation of Independent Business would like to remind you that as an employer, you play an important role in preventing workplace injuries and promoting a safe and healthy workplace. In fact, under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), you have a legal obligation to properly inform, instruct and supervise your employees and to do everything you reasonably can to protect them.
Core Area Ambassador
Feedback Survey
The City of London is currently collecting feedback from Core Area residents, businesses owners, workers, tourists, and visitors to understand their perspectives on the Core Area Ambassador program.
The Core Area Ambassadors play many roles, such as responding to concerns and complaints, providing guidance on how to access City services, sharing recommendations for events and activities, building ties with local businesses, and participating in beautification efforts.
The deadline to complete the feedback survey is Friday, April 21.
Sharps Disposal Kits Available
Residents and businesses in the Core Area can receive a sharps disposal kit from the City of London to help them safely dispose of sharps on their private property. These kits include tongs, gloves, a receptacle for sharps and information on how to safely pick up sharps.
Visit the Dundas Place Field House at 179 Dundas Street from Sunday to Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. to pick up a sharps disposal kit.
Digital Main Street Grant is Back!

This program provides Digital Transformation training, consultation and guidance, and the opportunity to apply for a grant of up to $2,500.
